The controller for the processing of your data is iCoolhunt S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as “we”).

We hereby inform you that we will process your data lawfully and fairly in full respect of your rights and, in particular, your privacy, according to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “Regulation”) and other applicable laws and regulations.

We will process the following data:

Profile data. When you register, add new data to your profile, or modify existing ones, we acquire your personal data (name, address, e-mail, telephone, etc.).

Browsing data. When you connect to our system, this will automatically record information that your device sends us. This information may relate to the content loaded, the steps taken, the IP address from which you are connecting, the operating system and the language of your device, date and time of your connection, your position and your browser’s “User-Agent” string.

Usage of the Service. When you interact with the Nextatlas service, some data is collected about which pages are visited, which searches are input etc., with the sole goal of improving the experience of usage through inspection of the interaction patterns.

Contact information and communications. When you send us your contact details (email, etc.) and an email or other communication, we will record your contact details and communication.

Social network activity. There may be, within or alongside the Nextatlas service, “social-media apps”. These are applications, tied to specific social networks, that offer specific services and require you to explicitly grant the permission to access your personal data stored in the social network. Such permission is granted by interacting with the social network, to whose terms and privacy policy you will agree before proceeding. For a list of the available social-media apps see below (section “Relation to Other Third Party Services”).

Cookies. When you use our services, we can send to your device one or more cookies (small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters):

  • technical cookies, that is navigation or session cookies, strictly necessary for the operation of the site or to allow you to enjoy that content and the services that you requested;
  • functionality cookies, that is cookies used to activate specific functionalities of the site and a number of selected criteria (for example, the language or your preferences on the use of cookies) in order to improve the service;
  • profilation cookies, that is cookies that store (an anonymized form of) the browser’s IP address, the screen size of the client, the client device type, the language preferences in order to better understand visitors’ browsing habits;
  • third-party cookies, that is cookies of sites or web servers other than the one hosting our service, used, with your consent, for own purposes of such third parties.

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR THE PROCESSING

Your personal data will be processed with the following purposes:

  • to provide you with our services according to point (b) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation,
  • to evaluate and improve our services and develop new ones, pursuing this legitimate interest according to point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation,
  • to protect the technical functioning of our system, pursuing this legitimate interest according to point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation,
  • to fulfill legal obligations and/or comply with orders from public authorities, including the judicial authorities, according to point (c) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation,
  • to process and diffuse statistics and graphic representations but only in aggregate and anonymous form, pursuing this legitimate interest according to point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation.

We will also process your personal data to inform you about our services and news on our site, pursuing this legitimate interest according to point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation.

COMMUNICATION TO THIRD PARTIES

We may communicate your data:

  • to third parties who work with us and deal with phases of the processes necessary for the proper performance of our activities,
  • to third parties to comply with legal obligations, to comply with orders from public authorities, including the judicial authorities, and/or to protect ours or third parties’ rights under law,
  • to our clients who use our services.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU

There are currently no plans to transfer your data outside the EU.

If your data will be transferred outside the EU we will provide you with appropriate information.

PERIOD OF STORING

The data of your profile, contact details, communications, and activities performed using our services are kept for the maximum time within which rights in relation to contracts concluded using the services can be asserted and (if before this deadline such rights will be asserted by you or third parties) for any additional time necessary to use the data to protect your rights, and/or rights of the owner and/or third parties.

Site navigation log data will be kept for 52 weeks.

RIGHTS

We remind you that, according to the Regulation, you are entitled:

  • to obtain access to your personal data according to Article 15 of the Regulation,
  • to obtain the correction of your personal data according to Article 16 of the Regulation,
  • to obtain the erasure of your personal data according to Article 17 of the Regulation,
  • to obtain restriction of processing of your personal data according to Article 18 of the Regulation,
  • to object to processing of your personal data based on point (f) of Article 6(1) of the Regulation (to evaluate and improve services and to develop new ones, to protect the technical functioning of our system) according to Article 21 of the Regulation,
  • to the portability of your personal data according to Article 20 of the Regulation,
  • to lodge a complaint with the Italian Privacy Authority according to Article 77 of the Regulation.

CONSEQUENCES OF FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE PERSONAL DATA

The provision of the profile data is a requirement necessary to enter into the registration contract and if you do not provide the profile data you will not be able to register.

Spotify widget

Service that allows us to show you playlists from Spotify, provided by Spotify AB that uses cookies and allows Spotify AB to collect, store and process data on the use of the services according to the terms of its Privacy Policy (https://www.spotify.com/us/legal/privacy-policy/; see also https://www.spotify.com/us/legal/cookies-policy/).

Vimeo Embeds

Service that permits embedding videos hosted on the Vimeo platform. For the embed to properly function, the Vimeo servers install cookies as detailed in their cookie policy available at: https://vimeo.com/cookie_policy.

Stripe

Some functionalities on Nextatlas require connection to the payment infrastructure Stripe, which makes use of cookies to function as described in their cookie policy available at: https://stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.

Google

Some of the analytics running on this Website make use of Google services to help improving and better designing the experience of the Website itself. This requires some third-party cookies by the Google service, as detailed here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/types?hl=en.

Youtube

Some of the functionalities offered by the Nextatlas Services rely on the “Youtube” service (in particular, the “Youtube videos” widget). This is made possible by the fact that Nextatlas uses the Youtube API Services, which fall under the Google Privacy Policy that can be read at https://policies.google.com/privacy .
Nextatlas Client allows Youtube API Services to serve content, including advertisements.

Facebook/Instagram

The “Argiope” service, an Instagram application, offers a service (independent of the main Nextatlas service) tied to your Instagram account. If you give the app permission, through Instagram, it will read some of your data stored in Instagram, namely your profile information and a few of your recent posts, extracts aggregate values from them in order to offer you strategic and brand-placement information. At this point your data is not stored anywhere in Nextatlas.

The contact information for everything regarding this social-media app is the same as that for the Nextatlas service.

As concerns this social-media app, please be informed that Facebook Ireland is a Joint Controller of the Joint Processing and that the information required by Article 13(1)(a) and (b) of the Regulation can be found in Facebook Ireland’s Data Policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

Further information on how Facebook Ireland processes Personal Data, including the legal basis Facebook Ireland relies on and the ways to exercise Data Subject rights against Facebook Ireland, can be found in Facebook Ireland’s Data Policy.

Further, please be informed that Nextatlas and Facebook Ireland have:

  • entered into the Controller Addendum at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum to determine the respective responsibilities for compliance with the obligations under the Regulation with regard to the Joint Processing (as specified in the Terms of Use at https://developers.facebook.com/terms);
  • agreed that Nextatlas is responsible for providing Data Subjects as a minimum with the information in this Privacy Policy;
  • agreed that between the Parties, Facebook Ireland is responsible for enabling Data Subjects’ rights under Articles 15-20 of the Regulation with regard to the Personal Data stored by Facebook Ireland after the Joint Processing.

ActiveCampaign

ActiveCampaign collects information from website visitors, and current and prospective clients when they use Nextatlas' website.

They collect information such as name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, IP address, device type and browser type.
