For Team / Enterprise organizations.

  1. 1

An organization Owner navigates to Organization settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.

  2. 2

    Enter the server URL: https://mcp.nextatlas.com/mcp/nexttrend

  3. 3

Individual users then connect and authenticate with their own Nextatlas credentials.

Security & Authentication

Enterprise-ready by design

For IT administrators evaluating approval. The connector is read-only, per-user, and operates with no access to your organization's data.

Authentication

The connector uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256) over HTTPS. Only the authorization_code grant is supported — every user completes an individual sign-in with their own Nextatlas credentials. No machine-to-machine access is possible. Tokens can be revoked at any time via the revocation endpoint or by disconnecting the connector in Claude settings.

Scope of access

Every tool is annotated readOnlyHint. The connector exposes no write, delete, or side-effecting operations. Claude can only query data the authenticated user's Nextatlas account is entitled to see — it does not broaden access beyond the user's existing subscription.

Data handling

Queries contain only the parameters needed to answer the question (e.g. a search term, an industry filter). The connector returns trend data from the Nextatlas dataset and does not persist conversation content. Data in transit is encrypted (TLS; HSTS enabled).

Infrastructure

The server is hosted at mcp.nextatlas.com and operated by iCoolhunt S.p.A. (Nextatlas), Turin, Italy. Connections from Claude originate from Anthropic's cloud infrastructure.

The dataset

Built on a decade of early-adopter observation

Nextatlas continuously analyzes the public activity of a curated global network of 300K+ early adopters and innovators — the people who anticipate mainstream behavior.

Signals are enriched with proprietary classification across industries, need states, occasions, demographics, and geographies, then validated against a decade of historical outcomes.

This is what allows Nextatlas to detect trends before they have a name, with measurable lead time over public search and social data.

Example workflows

How teams use it

Innovation scouting

"What emerging ingredients are gaining momentum in skincare? Profile the audience for the top three."

Strategy grounding

"We're pitching a client in the pet food category. What signals should we know about, and how have they evolved over the last two years?"

Trend validation

"Is 'sleep tourism' still growing or has it peaked? Show me the timeline and who's driving it."

Cross-category exploration

"What music genres co-occur with the rise of matcha culture?"
